Directed by Laurent Tirard, Moliere follows the early life of the French playwright and actor in 1685 as he returns to Paris to perform in a theatre the King has given to him. Formed of flashbacks to his release from Deptor’s Prison, Moliere finds himself falling in love with his bailer’s wife.
