    Ben Frimston

    Ben trained at Middlesex University on the BA Acting programme. Ben is from the Wirral and now lives in London. He is a founder member of Family Curioso Theatre Company in London and has worked on the last three shows with Hoipolloi, including The Impostor, My Uncle Arly and The Man Next Door.

    Theatre Credits Include: Dead Landlord (Family Curioso); Beau Gest (Wolf & Water Theatre Co.); One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (John Wright); Double Trouble (Trading Faces); Malice in Wonderland (Clerkinworks); Farmer Giles of Ham (Classworks). TV Credits include: Mike Bassett, Planespotting (ITV); The Basil Brush Show (BBC); 479 (Talkback). Ben also played Tom in the short film, Average Tom (John Furguson).

    Stefanie Muller

        Stefanie trained at the University of Basel and at the International School of Theatre Jacques Lecoq, in Paris. Since co-founding Hoipolloi in 1994, Stefanie has designed and performed in all but one of the company’s productions, touring throughout the UK and Europe, as well as the USA and The Philippines. Stefanie has previously worked with companies in Britain, France and Switzerland as an actress, designer and workshop leader.

    Recent work outside Hoipolloi includes The Red Ladies with The Clod Ensemble, Clare’s Walk for Menagerie Theatre and the Hugh Hughes productions of Floating and Story of a Rabbit.

    Jill Norman

    Jill graduated from Dartington College of Arts in 1994 and has spent much of the past 12 years touring nationally and internationally. Her most recent performance work was a collaboration on the Hugh Hughes production of Floating. Previously for Hoipolloi: The Impostor, My Uncle Arly, The Man Next Door, Marry Maria.

    Other credits include - for Women and Theatre: The Bad One, The Learning Curve, Touchwood; for Classworks: Farmer Giles of Ham; for Kaos: Volpone, The Importance of Being Earnest (The Stage Best Ensemble Award - 1999), Renaissance, Metropolis, The Master and Margherita, Conall Yellowclaw, Caligula, Sleeping Beauty, The Tempest. She is currently developing educational programmes for Women and Theatre.

    Andrew Pembrooke

    Andrew trained at Manchester Metropolitan University and at the International School of Theatre, Jacques Lecoq, in Paris. His previous theatre work includes Hard Muscles, Glass Jaw and the Forty Eight Hour Liquor Cure (Kaos Theatre) and Today’s Special (Leikin Loppu). Andrew has recently worked at the Almeida Theatre in Sick, a version of Moliere’s Hypochondriac adapted by sixteen year olds. He has run workshops in Britain and internationally and has previously performed with Hoipolloi in The Impostor, My Uncle Arly, Living Like Victor, Honestly and The Man Next Door.

    Trond-Erik Vassdal

    Trond trained at the International School of Theatre Jacques Lecoq, in Paris. He has performed extensively in France, Norway and Britain including two productions with the Philippe Genty Company which toured all around the world.

    Credits include The Visit with Le Théâtre des Racines Nées, Dracula with The English French Theatre Project, L`Accident with Un Soire Ailleurs. At the moment, he is also working on A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Label Brut, Post Babel with Theatre Luzzi, and is also a clown in La Maison Des Clown. He has taught in Norway, France, USA and run workshops internationally. Trond has previously performed with Hoipolloi in The Impostor, My Uncle Arly, Sweet Bobabola, Honestly and The Man Next Door.
