Dick Whittington and His Cat

It’s 1908 – and our hero Dick meets his new friend Tommy the Cat (who can talk!) outside the newly built Palace Theatre in Watford. But Watford’s streets aren’t paved with gold so Dick heads off to London to make his fortune...

He and Tommy meet Alderman Fitzwarren, his daughter Alice, and Sarah the cook – they mess around with fruit pies, sail on the high seas and ultimately have to foil King Rat’s plans to take over the world. Fairy Bow-Bells is on hand to help our dynamic duo – but they’ll still need more help – can you, the audience provide the X factor to help Dick and Tommy save the day?!

It’s an action-packed, thigh-slapping, swashbuckling show - deliriously daft, peppered with pop, and sprinkled with songs that celebrate the theatre’s beginnings as a ‘Palace of Varieties’ - a hundred years ago this December!

From the same creative team as Aladdin and Jack and the Beanstalk, and with Palace panto favourite DALE SUPERVILLE returning as the Cat!
